The creative brief for this project involved developing an entire visual branding identity kit for a new personal training business located in Beverly Hills, CA. Gentry is an exclusive, by-appointment-only fitness studio for women looking for a private, chic space where they can reserve specific fitness experiences for themselves and their closest friends. I took inspiration from high-end fashion labels and their boutiques.
Tex Tubb's Taco Palace
Inspired by a craving for their tacos, I chose to rebrand Tex Tubb’s. While searching for places to start, I found a vintage fabric that had cactuses, roses, peppers, and pretty Mexican women dressed in colorful embroidered dresses and was drawn to the colors of traditional Mexican serape blankets. I ended up with something fun and colorful and incorporated a bit of humor into the collateral.
This visual branding piece was inspired by my outfit the day I was handed the brief. I took inspiration from Woolrich’s iconic black and red Buffalo Check plaid. I wanted to focus on their rugged, outdoor-friendly products incorporating paper and flannel textures as well as imagery that showcased the abilities of their products and lengthly history.
Driven by the quirky title, I envisioned a large piece of curly parsley as the hero image on a spread for this article featured in the April 2016 issue of Bon Appetit magazine. My focus was an easy-to-read layout using high-quality images as support.
Night of Glamour Gala
Originally a series of three posters using a split-complementary color scheme featuring Roberto Cavalli dresses. The chosen theme for the Dorothy K. Anderson Foundation’s annual fundraising gala was “Night of Glamour” and these posters fit the theme perfectly. I chose the blue-violet poster as the basis for the event poster, invite, and silent auction material because the gala will take place in February.

A Spectrum Brands line of premium dog chews named Healthy Hides was due for a complete rebrand for a 2018 launch. I chose a simple and clean design, using a slab serif typeface to add an additional premium feel to their branding.
The goal of this video was to explain a simple process in an interesting way. I featured Kingsford MatchLight Charcoal to show the ease-of-use for their product.
A title sequence video for the 2018 Tropical Plant International Expo in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The goal of this video was to introduce attendees to this year's highlights while emphasizing the beautiful greenery and foliage of the tropical plants.
